Sadieville - Permanent Exhibit, Events, and Opportunities
Hey Gang -
As I indicated in our meeting last night, Cindy Foster, with the city of Sadieville, has been a wonderful supporter of our group. She has not only expressed an interest in allowing our club members to be involved in shooting various Sadieville events, celebrations, and icons, but also graciously offered to allow us the opportunity to have exhibit space in their Town Hall where we can display our work, including framed prints, matted prints, cards, etc.
I spoke with her today and she indicated that the next events will be in April. There will also be a Railroad festival in October. She thought that might be a great opportunity for our group to prepare prints, cards, etc. to sell during the festival. The Festival will be October 9th.
I am waiting on the dimensions of the display area, but if you are interested in displaying pieces in the Sadieville Town Hall, on a rotating basis, please let me know. I believe she wants the photos to reflect their community and surrounding area.

The Shooting Gallery
Our exhibit opened last Saturday, but our reception was Friday night. Several of us were there to host the event and Ida really rocked the food! We had a good crowd, a lot of fun, and I know at least one of our members sold a framed piece! Congratulations, Ida!
If you haven't been out to see the exhibit yet, GET OVER THERE and see it! I think you'll be very impressed with how well it showcases our passion and talent as a group! The first time I saw it, I had to keep reminding myself that it was our exhibit and some of that work was mine! It really makes us look like professionals!

Winter Photo Weekend
I know this occurs during our big exhibit, so the timing isn't great, but I wanted to post this in case some members wanted to attend.
The winter photo weekend is the last weekend of January at Pine Mountain State Park. Registration is on Friday and the competition is on Saturday and then the event ends Sunday. For details, look it up on the Ky State Parks website and pick Pine Mountain.
