A Call for Volunteers - Club Event Planning
We talked about getting John Schnell (sp?) to present at one of our meetings or to see if we could have a working outing with him in the Gorge. I believe some members said they know John personally and would be willing to talk to him in this regard. Can I get a volunteer to help set this up? If you are willing to work on this, please email me and let me know.
We've also wanted to get James Archambeault to either present at a meeting or, better, to go out and shoot with us. I've heard he's up for those kind of things. Do I have any volunteers that would be willing to contact him and see about setting something up?Thanks!!!!!!

Library Exhibit - Update!
We finalized the details at our meeting last Wednesday.
We will be receiving the pieces this Saturday at the library from 9:30 -10am. The members that have committed to being there are myself, Brenda, Lynn, and Robin. Mike will also be there, but he will be working and notexpected to be available with receiving pieces.
We will hang thee xhibit that morning on the rack system provided by the library. Matted pieces should be brought with binder clips to hang the pieces. If you have frames, you will need to bring S hooks for that purpose. I think the S hooks would need to be about 1 - 1.5 inches. Please remember that only frames with acrylic glazing will be accepted. Frames with glass will NOT be accepted for the exhibit.
As we discussed, it looks like we are going to have more room than initially expected for the exhibit. If you have pieces that you'd like to submit, please contact me immediately via email. I will need you to list the title of the piece, the size (cannot be larger than 11x14) and whether it each is matted or framed, the price if the piece is for sale or NFS if it is not for sale, along with your name, address, phone number, and email address.

Sadieville - Permanent Exhibit, Events, and Opportunities
As I indicated in our meeting last night, Cindy Foster, with the city of Sadieville, has been a wonderful supporter of our group. She has not only expressed an interest in allowing our club members to be involved in shooting various Sadieville events, celebrations, and icons, but also graciously offered to allow us the opportunity to have exhibit space in their Town Hall where we can display our work, including framed prints, matted prints, cards, etc.
I spoke with her today and she indicated that the next events will be in April. There will also be a Railroad festival in October. She thought that might be a great opportunity for our group to prepare prints, cards, etc. to sell during the festival. The Festival will be October 9th.
I am waiting on the dimensions of the display area, but if you are interested in displaying pieces in the Sadieville Town Hall, on a rotating basis, please let me know. I believe she wants the photos to reflect their community and surrounding area.
