I thought you would all find this article/story and the associated photos very interesting. . .since all of us are photography enthusiasts and many of us for, among other reasons, because of how photographs can and do preserve time and record our history. The story is amazing and the photos incredible.

Thank you for sharing this awesome set of photos. My heart feels so heavy for all the people who lost loved ones during this sad time in history. War is a terrible, but sometimes necessary thing that we must deal with simply becuase we do not obey God's Commandment to love one another.
